Let's start with a little history. Originally, our online store was a private store only available to our buyer's club members as a means to "beat the early crowds" at market. They would pre-order before all their favorite stuff sells out, and then pickup at market or get their produce delivered. And then spring 2020 came along and brought covid-19 with it. Like most small market farmers, unsure about the fate of gatherings at farmers markets, we scrambled to pivot our business to keep afloat. Our response was to turn our private store, public! We created Thelooneyfarm.store as our online pre-ordering store available weekly to the general public. The store is now a permanent fixture and an extension of our farmers market presence.
how it all works
Thelooneyfarm.store essentially the same as any other online store front with one major difference - we are not open every day of the week. Instead we work on a weekly schedule/cycle.
The store is open to the general public from Wednesday to Friday @ noon.
here's what the typical weekly ordering cycle looks like:

tuesday evenings

we update the store inventory so it's ready for the store's general opening on tuesday morning.

wednesday through friday
- We typically send out a weekly newsletter announcing that the store is open, in addition to any special farm updates.
- just like any other online store, add items to your cart, and choose your "shipping option" - one of our free, convenient pickup locations or opt for home delivery for a small fee.
- friday @ noon
- this is the weekly pre-order cutoff. no orders accepted past thursday @ midnight
- fridays
- after harvesting, washing and packaging veggies all week, we fill the weeks orders.
- saturdays & sundays
- you meet us at the pickup location of your choice at the location's designated time/window.
- or - we deliver your order to your doorstep
